Players looking for a new place to play Bitcoin poker can now look to NetBet. It is the first sportsbook and casino licensed by the UK Gambling Commission to accept Bitcoin for bets on its products.
Alexandre Mangaud, a spokesperson for NetBet, has said that the company has been looking at digital currencies for some time now and has decided join the Bitcoin bandwagon. This makes NetBet the first bookmaker fully licensed in the UK to allow customers to use the virtual currency. Though it is known for its sportsbook, NetBet also has a poker section for Bitcoin poker players as well as a casino section.
